Some pages on eMontenegro may carry partner (affiliate) links. A partner link is marked "Partner link" where it appears; if you book or buy through it, eMontenegro may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Pages that carry partner links show this label, and a page without it has none. No partner pays for a place in the guide, and a partner link never changes a fact, a price or the order of a list.

What a partner link is

A partner link sends you to another company's site (for example a tour, car hire or accommodation booking site) with a code that tells them you came from eMontenegro. If you book or buy there, that company pays us a share of its own earnings. The price you pay is the one the partner shows; it is not raised to cover the commission. Commission is usually paid only after the stay or tour has taken place.

How to tell

• The visible label "Partner link" next to the link.
• A note on the page, above the first such link, pointing to this page.
• In the page code, the link carries rel="sponsored", which tells search engines it is a paid link.

A link without the label is an ordinary link: a source, an institution, an operator's own site. We earn nothing from it.

What partners never get

• A place on the site. Nobody pays to be listed or to be listed first; directory rows come from registers and institutions, as the editorial policy describes.
• A say in the text. Facts (prices, hours, lengths, rules) come from the sources recorded on the page, and a partner's price or claim is never shown as our fact.
• A review or a rating. We publish none.
• Your data from our pages. A plain link sends nothing until you click it; what the partner's site collects after that is under its own policy (see privacy).

Which kinds of partners

Only services a visitor to Montenegro would actually need, and only where a link helps the next step on a page that is already worth reading on its own: tours and activities, car rental, airport transfers, accommodation booking, eSIM cards for mobile data, travel insurance. Each partner with a signed agreement is named on this page. No display advertising.

Where partner links appear

At most one block per page, on pages where it fits the subject. No page is created just to carry links, and a page without them is complete.

Why we say this

So you can judge a suggestion knowing who benefits. Google's guidance also asks for paid links to be marked rel="sponsored", which we do.
