Montenegro's museums are small, cheap and clustered. Cetinje, the old royal capital, has the most: the units of the National Museum of Montenegro in the palaces around Dvorski trg, the Central Bank's free Money Museum and, up on Lovćen, the Njegoš Mausoleum. The Bay of Kotor has the Maritime Museum in Kotor, the Perast Museum and the Roman mosaics of Risan. Podgorica has the city, contemporary-art and natural-history museums; Budva, Herceg Novi and Bar have town museums. No ticket costs more than €8, the Cetinje combined ticket is €20, and most town museums close on Monday, so plan Cetinje or Kotor for that day.
