Getting to town

Taxi

The airport names two companies, Zeta Taxi (zetataxi.me, +382 67 995 757) and Vuk BG Taxi (vukbgtaxi.com, +382 68 666 644), and there is no fixed airport fare. Taxis charge by the meter. A licensed car has TX plates, a lit TAXI roof sign with the licence number, a sealed meter and a certified price list in view, and gives a receipt on request. Podgorica-licensed taxis work within the city's bands: on the standard tariff a start of EUR 0.50 to 1.00 and EUR 0.50 to 1.00 per kilometre, EUR 0.60 to 1.00 at night (22:00 to 06:00), on weekends and holidays, and EUR 0.40 to 1.00 per kilometre outside the city; the airport itself is in Zeta. For a ride to the coast, agree the price before you set off.

Bus

Buses stop in front of the terminal. BTC Zeta, MS Tours and Zejdin run to Podgorica's central bus station, and Zejdin also to Ulcinj; tickets are sold on the bus or at busticket4.me. The timetable on the airport's page is out of date, so take the times from busticket4.me or the carrier. From the bus station, intercity buses leave for Budva, Kotor and the rest of the coast; the bus guide explains how the network works.

Train

The Aerodrom halt is on the Bar-Podgorica line, with about nine local trains a day; the fare to Podgorica is EUR 1.20 in second class and EUR 1.80 in first. Timetable search at zpcg.me; the Bar-Belgrade train page describes the line and the halt.

Rental car

Nine companies have desks in the terminal (listed below), and the car rentals section covers hire across the country.
