Perazića Do is a 40 m beach of sand and pebble at the bottom of a small bay below Reževići monastery, between Sveti Stefan and Petrovac in the municipality of Budva. A turn-off from the Budva-Petrovac main road leads down to it, the Budva-Petrovac city bus stops at Perazića Do, and the bay is known for its sunsets. With an area of 540 m² it is a place for a swim and a sunset, not for a crowd.

Getting there

From the Adriatic highway between Sveti Stefan and Petrovac, take the turn-off for Perazića Do below Reževići monastery. The Budva-Petrovac city bus runs all year, about every hour from early morning to late evening, and its stops include Reževići and Perazića Do before it ends in Petrovac centre. The bay is small, so the bus is the easier choice in July and August.

The beach

Sand and pebble, 40 m long, 540 m². Weekend houses were built behind the beach in the 1960s.

Rules on the beach

Every public bathing area must keep half of its length free of loungers and umbrellas, with a free strip along the water; on bathing areas under 500 m² the strip is 1 m wide instead of 3 m. The bathing season runs from May to October, when the bathing water is tested. No bathing area at Perazića Do has held the Blue Flag.

Reževići monastery

On the main road above the bay, about halfway between Petrovac and Sveti Stefan, stands Reževići monastery: the church of the Dormition built by King Stefan the First-Crowned in 1226, the church of Archdeacon Stephen raised by Tsar Dušan in 1351 and replaced by a larger one in the early 19th century, and the Holy Trinity church of 1770 with a bell tower added in 1839. Its frescoes of the 16th century lie over 13th-century layers, and the Paštrovići statute was found here in 1860. Next to it, the Reževići memorial home in an 1856 school building holds a gallery, a library and an ethnographic room.
