The Ćehotina meanders viewpoint (Vidikovac Meandri Ćehotine) is an excursion site on the road from Pljevlja to Bijelo Polje, 18.5 km by road from Pljevlja (about 31 minutes by car). It looks down on the tight bends of the Ćehotina where the Otilovići reservoir has raised and widened the river into a lake about 11 km long. The meanders are part of the Crown of Montenegro panoramic road.

What you see

The meanders became a landscape once the Otilovići dam filled the valley: the river, now a lake, loops back and forth below the road in bends that read best from above. The reservoir is about 11 km long, and much of it winds through a canyon that cannot be reached from the shore, which is why the view from the rim is the way to see it. Several viewpoints look over the meanders, and there are initiatives to protect the area, for example as a natural monument.
