Kraljičina plaža (Queen's Beach) is a sand beach in Pećin bay next to Čanj, halfway between Petrovac and Sutomore in the municipality of Bar. Hills and sedimentary rock close the bay on the land side, so the only way in is by boat, and tourist boats from Čanj run to its pier in season. The beach was the favourite of Queen Milena of Montenegro, which gave it the name. Sunbeds and umbrellas are set out.
Getting there
By boat only. The beach has a pier for tourist boats, and the boats that serve it leave from Čanj, the next beach to the south-east, which has free parking and sits on the Adriatic highway between Petrovac and Sutomore. Departure times and fares are set by the boat operators on Čanj beach. Allow for the return trip when you plan the day: the last boat back is the only way off the beach.
The beach
Sand, enclosed by walls of sedimentary rock that give the bay its shape and its shelter. Sunbeds and umbrellas are for hire; bring whatever else you need, because there is no road, shop or village behind the beach.
Loungers and the free half
Every public bathing area must keep half of its length free of loungers and umbrellas and mark it, with a free strip along the water. Lifeguards are posted on organised bathing areas through the season, May to October, when the bathing water is also tested.
Blue Flag
No bathing area on this beach has held the Blue Flag. In Montenegro the flag goes to a single bathing area run by one concession holder, not to a whole beach.

No. The bay is closed by hills and rock; the only access is by boat from Čanj.
