Pržno is a 260 m sand beach, partly rocky, in front of the former fishing village of the same name, between Kamenovo and Miločer in the municipality of Budva. It faces west and keeps the sun until sunset. Restaurants line the waterfront, rooms and apartments fill the village behind, Hotel Maestral stands at one end, and the Budva-Sveti Stefan city bus stops in Pržno every 10 minutes. It is a public beach, unlike the resort beaches in Miločer park next door.

Getting there and parking

The village is just off the Adriatic highway between Budva and Sveti Stefan, and the beach is at the bottom of it. The city bus Budva-Sveti Stefan leaves Mediteranska street in Budva every 10 minutes from 06:00 to 22:00, then every 15-30 minutes until 01:30, and stops at Pržno after Bečići and Kamenovo; the Budva-Petrovac line, about hourly, passes too.

Street parking in Budva municipality is zoned. In summer (1 May to 30 September) zone I costs €2 an hour for at most 1 hour, zone II €1.50 an hour for at most 3 hours and zone III €1 an hour, charged daily 07:00-24:00. An unpaid stay earns a €50 day ticket, reduced by a third if paid within 8 days.

The beach

Sand with rocky parts, 260 m long with an area of 4,300 m². The beach faces west across the open sea, so it keeps the afternoon and evening sun. Restaurants stand on the waterfront and rooms and apartments behind the beach; Hotel Maestral is at one end.

Loungers and the free half

Every public bathing area must keep half of its length free of loungers and umbrellas and mark it, with a free strip along the water and a passage to the sea at least every 20 m; a hotel bathing area may be furnished throughout. Lifeguards are posted at least one per 50 m of shore in July and August and one per 100 m in the other months of the season, which runs from May to October, when the bathing water is also tested.

Blue Flag

Hotel Maestral's bathing area held the Blue Flag in 2007 and 2009 and was in the pilot phase in other seasons up to 2020. The flag belongs to a concession, not to the whole beach.
