The Art Museum of Montenegro (Umjetnički muzej Crne Gore) is the art unit of the National Museum of Montenegro, in the Government House (Vladin dom) at Novice Cerovića bb in Cetinje. Founded in 1950 as the National Gallery within the State Museum, it holds over 4,000 works. Its best-known single object is the icon of Our Lady of Philermos, shown in the "Blue Chapel". In summer it opens daily 09:00-16:00.
Opening hours and tickets
Summer season (to 15 November; the unit page gives 11 April and the institution's timetable 15 April as the start): daily 09:00-16:00. Winter: Monday to Friday 09:00-15:00. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing across the National Museum. The museum closed for technical maintenance on 10-13 July 2026, so short closures do happen; the news page on narodnimuzej.me lists them.
The price list gives a joint ticket for the Historical Museum and the Art Museum at €5 for adults and €2.50 for pupils and students. The Historical Museum's permanent exhibition in the same building is listed as closed to visitors, and the museum has not said whether the Art Museum alone still costs €5. The collective ticket for all National Museum units and the Njegoš Mausoleum is €20 (€10 for pupils and students); children under 12 enter free.
