The crag

The 61 routes are split between two zones. They start at 10 m and the longest run 80 m; the grades run from II, the easy end of the UIAA scale, to XII at the top of it. The crag was equipped under the project Turizam, Adrenalin i Rafting Avantura (T.A.R.A.), run by the municipalities of Plužine and Foča with Nature Park Piva and the Foča tourist organisation under the EU cross-border programme between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

Who it suits

Everyone from beginners to experienced climbers: the low grades are the place for a first climb, the top grades are projects for strong climbers, and the 80 m lines are the long days out. The park office answers questions about the routes and the gear.

When to go

The climbing season in Montenegro runs from late winter (February-March) to late autumn (November-December).

Nearby

The crag looks over the Piva and its lake; the Piva canyon viewpoint at Babići is on the same side of the valley, and Piva Monastery is the area's monument. The park also has the Piva via ferrata and the 1,400 m zip line over the lake; the one-day rafting on the Tara starts at Brštanovica in Plužine municipality. Other crags are on the sport climbing hub.
