Via Ferrata Piva is a cabled climbing route near the bridge over the Piva in Plužine, in the north-west of Montenegro. It is about 4,500 m long and was opened officially in October 2024 under the EU-funded cross-border project "Via Ferrata Climbing to Discover the Beauty of Piva and Ibar", run by the municipalities of Plužine and Tutin. The project describes it as suitable for all groups of visitors.

Where it is
The route starts near the Piva bridge in Plužine municipality, the same area as the Piva Lake zip line and the start of Tara rafting from Brštanovica. The Piva canyon viewpoint near Babići is in the same nature park.

What is not published
No official source gives the route's grade, the time it takes, opening months or any fee. A travel site gives about 900 m, 150 m of height gain, 2 to 3 hours and grade B/C, which conflicts with the 4,500 m in the EU Delegation's announcement; the difference is unresolved, so no duration or difficulty is listed here.
Under Montenegro's mountain trails law, cables and ladders count as trail infrastructure and users go at their own risk. Whether equipment can be hired on site is not published.
Other via ferrata routes
The national tourism organisation lists no via ferrata on its sport-climbing page. The Žabljak tourist office has a "Via Ferrata" heading, but the text under it repeats the zip-line paragraph and gives no route facts. Secondary sources describe a short route of about 180 m at the exit of the Škurda canyon in Kotor, grade B/C, and a short route on Uvita greda near Sedlo in Durmitor. Neither has an official source, so neither is described further here.
