Cmiljevica, spelled Smiljevica in the official survey table, is a 1,963 m mountain 14 km from Berane, beside the main road to Rožaje. It is known for the Lokve ski centre and hotel on its slopes. Which municipality the summit is in, its protected status and summer trails are not published.

Skiing

The Lokve centre lies between 1,350 and 1,700 m. A two-seat chairlift runs from the plateau by Hotel Lokve (1,336 m) to 1,560 m at 960 skiers an hour and continues into two drag lifts (1,000 skiers an hour); an anchor lift and a baby lift serve the slope from 1,510 m to 1,630 m (900 rides an hour). The run is 5 km long with 280 m of vertical, and there is a restaurant and ski rental. The centre opened in the first half of the 1980s and, by a 2014 government report, did not operate from 2005 to at least 2014. In December 2023 the owners announced a reopening after a three-year pause; in December 2024 the chairlift had been inspected but the owners were still waiting for operating permits. No later confirmation of operation was found, so check before travelling. All centres are on the skiing page.
