Kolašin 1450 is the privately run ski resort on Bjelasica, with its base at Jezerine (1,450 m), 9.9 km by road from the centre of Kolašin. A six-seat chairlift, a two-seat chairlift, three surface lifts and a baby lift reach about 1,900 m and serve 12 pistes, 7 red, 2 blue and 3 black, with 17 to 26 km of skiing depending on the count. A day pass costs €15 for adults and €12 for children, and a season pass €400. The K7 chairlift to the neighbouring state resort Kolašin 1600 starts next to the base; it has stood still since 2024 and is being repaired, so a joint ski area of about 45 km depends on it running again.

Season dates

There is no fixed opening day: the season starts when the snow settles, and the operator announces opening and closing on its website. Past seasons show the pattern: 2018/19 ran from 15 December to 15 April; in 2023/24 the Jezerine surface lift was running by 22 January and the six-seat chairlift from 23 January; 2024/25 opened on 25 December, the first opening before New Year; 2025/26 closed on 12 April after more than 100 ski days. A full season would be 100 to 120 days, but the base has no snowmaking, water supply or utilities to stay open that long once the natural snow at 1,450 m is gone. The Kolašin ski season as a whole is covered on the Kolašin 1600 and snow today pages.

Lifts

Six lifts run from the Jezerine base, with a combined capacity of about 5,500 skiers an hour:

  • Viline Vode, a six-seat chairlift of 1,187 m to about 1,840 m (2,800 skiers an hour);
  • Ćupovi, a two-seat chairlift of 1,840 m to about 1,880 m (1,200 an hour);
  • Jezerine, Carev do and Ključ, surface lifts of roughly 310, 460 and 460 m; Ključ reaches the top of the area at about 1,900 m, and Jezerine and Ključ were rebuilt;
  • a baby lift of 150 m (400 an hour) by the base.

Pistes

The 12 pistes are 7 red, 2 blue and 3 black, between 1,450 and 1,900 m, served by the two chairlifts and the surface lifts; total length is 17 to 26 km depending on the count, with figures up to about 30 km in circulation. The piste map on the operator's site is drawn on OpenSnowMap. Beginners have the baby lift and the Jezerine surface lift next to the base, and instructors who work with them.

The K7 Klisura chairlift (opened in February 2022, top station 1,778 m) starts beside the 1450 base and links the resort with Kolašin 1600 and the 9 km of pistes between them; together the two areas have about 45 km. It has stood still since spring 2024, when works on a neighbouring private plot undermined pylon 4. The repair, paid by the Ministry of Tourism at €150,000, was in its final phase in October 2026, with the two areas due to be linked again for 2026/27 if the contractor finishes before the season.

Each resort sells its own pass; there is no joint pass for Kolašin 1450 and 1600. A joint day pass has been negotiated but not agreed: the two operators first settled on €35, and Skijališta Crne Gore, the state company behind Kolašin 1600, then proposed €40 for about 45 km of pistes.

Ski pass prices

The price list (the full table is in the box on this page): a day pass €15 for adults and €12 for children, two days €30 / €24, three days €45 / €36, six days €90 / €72, a season pass €400 / €250 and a single chairlift ride €8 / €5. The 7-day pass is listed at €80 / €70, below the 6-day price, as published. The list gives no age limit for the child price. A mountain rescue (GSS) season pass costs €100. Residents of Kolašin, Berane, Andrijevica and Petnjica ski free from Monday to Thursday on a day pass: adults show an ID card, and their children and young people ski free with a parent.

Rental, ski school and food

Ski-room 1450 at the base rents, services, stores and sells equipment; the rental fleet is 450 sets of Head equipment. The resort has instructors for beginners, but no ski school with a published name or price list. Restoran Jezerine at the base serves Montenegrin dishes, and the operator also rents snowmobiles and quads. Phone: +382 68 661 450.

Most beds are in Kolašin, down in the valley. By spring 2026 four hotels at the base on Bjelasica were built but not open, lacking water, sewage and access infrastructure. The resort runs on an old overhead power line, so a winter storm can stop the lifts for a while.

Snow, snowmaking and webcams

Snow cover depends on natural snowfall: a small snowmaking system (seven cannons at the 2024/25 opening) covers part of the pistes, and there is no snowmaking at the lower elevations, so the base can close while the top at Ključ still has snow. Before you drive up, check the webcams at Jezerine (1,450 m) and Viline Vode (1,841 m), the operator's weather stations and groomed snow depth at the same two points, the snow and skiing today page and the weather in Kolašin.

Getting there

By car to the Jezerine car park: from Kolašin centre 9.9 km, about 12 minutes; from Podgorica 67.7 km, about 1 hour 10 minutes; from Budva 130 km, about 2 hours 26 minutes. These are clear-road times with no allowance for snow; see road conditions before you set off.

Winter tyres: from 15 November to 1 April, cars and goods vehicles driven in winter conditions (falling snow, or snow, ice or black ice on the road) need winter tyres on all wheels with at least 4 mm of tread; studded tyres are banned. The access road from Bablja greda past Kolašin 1450 to Kolašin 1600 (11 km) was put on the Ministry of Interior's list of roads where winter tyres are compulsory for the whole period, whatever the weather (order for 2022/23).

A free ski bus has run from Kolašin centre to Kolašin 1600 with a stop at 1450: in 2024/25 it left at 09:00 and 10:30 and returned at 13:30 and 16:15, paid for by the tourist organisation, the municipality, the Chamber of Economy and the national tourism organisation. Ask the Kolašin tourist organisation for the current timetable.
