The Soko peak viewpoint, 1,439 m, is one of the nine viewpoints listed by Nature Park Piva, on the summit above Crkvičko Polje in Plužine municipality. The park's trail 192R reaches it in 2.7 km from the Spomen dom in Rudine, graded easy. From the top the view takes in Crkvičko Polje, Pivska planina, Durmitor, Vučevo, part of the Piva canyon and the Drina down to Bastasi.

How to get there

  • Trailhead: the Spomen dom in Rudine, the park's trail portal point T-326.
  • Route: Spomen dom, the junction in the village of Rudine, the water reservoir, then the summit. Trail 192R, 2.7 km, graded easy, through low scrub (krčanik).
  • GPS at the top: 43.33115, 18.87315 (the park's point T-215, published as 43°19.869' N, 18°52.389' E).

The park gives no walking time, and parking at the Spomen dom is not described.

The Spomen dom

The Spomen dom in Rudine is a memorial home to the Igman March. The panoramic-road guide, whose text dates from the original 2012-era route survey, describes it as renovated with rooms of mountain-hut standard and mountain bikes for hire.
